PMGER Mission

PMGER essentially looks forward to increasing people's participation in power sector reforms and regulation through different forms. This includes all those vulnerable sections who are normally outside the decision-making structures such as poor, disadvantaged, farmers, women and consumers. It would be the endeavour of the PMGER to involve all other representative organisations of the above-mentioned sections in the thought process and regulatory processes.

PMGER would develop and analyse information on different aspects of power reform agenda, policy products and structure of power sector. This information would be disseminated variously and in various forms, not just in print form. PMGER hopes to reach out to as many people as possible, striving to reach the Mahatma Gandhi's 'last person'. This may not be possible directly, but efforts would be made to network with 'like-minded' civil society organisations, as relevant.
